Instructions for measuring ready-made wave curtains
To ensure your wave curtains fit perfectly and the desired drape is optimally displayed, please follow the following steps when measuring:
1. Required tools
✔ Tape measure
✔ Notepad or smartphone to document the measurements
2. Measure the width
Since these are ready-made wave curtains, the measurements already include wave allowance. This means that the specified curtain width reflects the finished width when decorated.
- Measuring the track or rod
→ Measure the entire width of the curtain track or rod to which the curtain will be attached.
→ The curtain should be approximately the same width as the track or slightly overhang it to create a harmonious overall look.
→ You can also specify the desired width you would like.
Example:
If you have a rail width of 200 cm , choose a wave curtain with a finished width of 200 cm (including the waves).
Example 2:
If you would like the curtain to be 300 cm wide, choose a wave curtain with a finished width of 300 cm (including the waves).
3. Measure height
- Determine the measuring point: Measure from the bottom edge of the curtain rail or rod to the desired final length of the curtain.
- Height variants:
To the floor: A length of about 3-4 cm above the floor is recommended so that the curtain does not drag.
Up to the windowsill: If the curtain ends at the windowsill, measure just above it (approx. 2 cm distance).
Custom length: If you want the curtain to be a specific height, measure to the desired point.
Handmade, therefore the height may vary by +/- 0.8 mm.
Note: The specified finished dimensions refer to the complete curtain including the waves.
4. Important information
✔ No additional fabric width required: Since the curtain is pre-cut, the waves are already included.
✔ Consider the mounting system: Make sure your wave curtain system (track or rod) matches the curtain.
✔ Double-check: Check the measurements before ordering to ensure the curtain fits perfectly.

Montage leicht gemacht – So funktionieren Wellengardinen
Die Montage von Wellenvorhängen erfolgt mithilfe von speziellen Wellengleitern, die gleichmäßig in eine Schiene eingefädelt werden.
